Weekly Learning News

This was one of my dearest projects this school year. I wanted students to be mindful of their learning and share what happens in our classroom. I also wanted the students to take the lead, that is how Weekly Learning Updates was born.

Students were divided into groups of three, and they choose what subject to focus on (Math, Reading, Socials Studies/Science). During the week, they gather notes to create a script that they would record on Fridays to share with the classroom and their families. As the episodes continued, students were slowly learning the sound editing process too.

Even though we couldn't continue with this project due to the winter storm and then preparing for state exams, I am looking forward to retaking it next year.
